We are a hedgehog breeder based in Waterloo, Ontario. We started breeding hedgehogs in 2015, when we decided that we wanted to take our passion for hedgehogs to the next level. Since then we have produced many healthy and happy baby hedgehogs! We now want to share this passion with you by breeding and providing top quality hedgehogs with the best health and temperament.

Firstly, we are ethical hedgehog breeders. This means we always put hedgehog health first. We have a strict cleaning schedule to ensure the hedgehogs have outstanding living conditions. We only breed the healthiest and friendliest hedgehogs in order to provide our customers with such offspring. We give our hedgehogs lots of time in between litters in order for them too recover completely. At Northern Hedgehogs, we breed our females only 3 times in their lifetimes and keep them as pets or sell them as retired breeders afterwards. This ensures that they aren't overbred and continue to live a long and happy life. We feed our hedgehogs the best food possible and provide them with lots of exercise options. Being ethical also means keeping a pedigree on all our hedgehogs, and NEVER interbreeding.
